Trees don't bark

I accidentally made the cutest house. As you can see the house, the windows are "open". I had the windows cut out because I actually made this house to a candle holder.I wanted the windows cut out so that way when you put the candle inside, the light will shine out and you can see in and see the candle.I made a hole at the bottom so the candle will slide right in and the top is gone because,I didn't know what to make for it.I thought it will be a good idea if i just buy something for the top and I'll just decorate it.In the back is a table "wooden" chairs or benches. The roses are front because I wanted to have some type of beauty to it.There are three tree stumps on the side to make the "tree stumps" stand out and to give it more of a tree forest look. I feel as if I make a base for this and make some more things then it will make it look really cool and exciting.

Pot full of snake

To get my ideas flowing I thought of this, It's a tea pot with handles that look like a snake. I had many similar ideas to this but I thought the snake coming out of the pot was really cool. The tea pot will have holes all around. I wanted to make something that will make you think. "Why does this tea pot have holes?" I also might add something else, like an irregular shape to it, I just don't know yet.

Tree House

I really like trees and I thought for my project I will make a tree... that looks like a house. The sketch I did above will look similar to the one that I will make. The bottom of the tree will not be curved shaped like the sketch but it will look exactly like the root of a real tree. I wanted to add a bunch of branches, but I know that it will not be able to work because I already tried to do a tree project. But not like this one. So here is my idea...erm..bye.

Christine Federighi

Here is Christine Federighi's house artwork. The thing I like about her house artwork are the shapes of the houses, the colors, and just everything about them. The paintings look so good and the creativity is awesome.

Jean Cappadonna

This is Jean Cappadonna artwork. Her work amazing ! The Dream houses were a bit to much for me, but they were so cool. But this house is really cool. I didnt find the meaning of the piece, but Im pretty sure its somewhere. This house/artwork is probably the best I have seen throughtout the 5 artists.

Dave

Here is One of my favorite clay house made by Dave. It has a house on top of a house  and the paintings on it is just amazing. I was thinking about making a house just like this, but since he already made one then I will have to make a different style one.

Vases

My projects I am working on now are vases and tea pots. The vases are going to be irregular shaped and be weirdly decorated.I had to wrap the clay in wet paper towels so they clay can be able to be worked with. The round clay is my vase and it doesn't look like a round vase yet because I'm working with the base right now. I am making 1 vase, 1 cup, and 1 tea pot.

Projects on the RISE!

My world project is done shaping and rounding, but I have no clue what I'm going to do with it.My first idea was to just paint it like a world, but decided to do something totally different. So right now while I'm trying to figure out what to do with my project,I'll be making tea pots and cups. But  they are not going to be original, they are going to be oddly shaped and weird looking.Plain is just boring=.So this is what I'm working on now.

Ceramics kids!

Ceramics kids need to wash all utensils, and WRAP clay when not in use.If you do not wrap the clay it WILL NOT be able to be used for projects.Keep the clay room clean and well organized.Put your projects where no one will be able to ruin them.DO NOT mess around in the clay room! GET YOUR THINGS AND GET OUT! The clay is to be USED for your projects and not thrown in the trash,or anywhere around the room, nor at each other.
Please remember that the projects you make will show how much work you put into them.
What you do in class is your business, but the outcome of that will also be your business.

* I am not a teacher and I'm not telling you what to do.I am a student and I know how to act.RESPECT your teacher and do what you are told.

World/Globe

Here it is!!!
It really doesn't look like a circle/round globe. This is the best I could do.I decided to make the bottom flat that way it would stay up in place.I might add some things to this to make it look a lot better.

Picture clay!

Here is something I made last year,I'm not really happy with how it came it out.Hopefully,I can remake a new one this year.

Some of my projects!!

These are all my projects that I have made. The cup was recent. The hands and coil vase were made last year in ceramics 1.The hands are painted like the world and the vase is painted with flowers and garden like things. They just need to be fired and the cup needs to be painted and fired.Im really excited to take these home with the rest of my projects I have made.

Ceramics "World" Project

I am making a "World". I was doing the coil pots until I found it faster to just to cut out long strips of clay and scratch and put the water and make that "glue".Im first starting out with one half of the world then Im going to make my way up and try to make the half round.I found this step to be way easier because its basically the same. When Im done with the first half Ill be able to work on the other half and TRY to make it the same size. This half of the "World" is not done yet I need to size it and round it first. While I'm putting the strips on Im smoothing it all out just so I don't have to waste an extreme waste of time when I go back.
